The Toyota Highlander is comfortable, quiet, and powerful, though it’s not particularly agile. Learn more about the Toyota Highlander and other SUVs on our website: http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/cars/new-cars/suvs/index.htm?EXTKEY=I93YT01&CMP=OTC-YUTBE

  1. I think your right about the chevy traverse
It's a nice SUV and huge, but I don't know I like them both. The new 2011 highlander with the new front and back, the interior still the same w nice interior and large buttons,
The traverse is also nice and the pilot too..
The rest of the competitors like the pathfinder is gone forever..

  2. @jvrdlc Highlander! that 3.5 is powerful refined, and fuel efficient. It just blows GM's 3.6 out of the water.

  3. my grandma has a highlander and we drove down to nyc in it a four hour trip and i got stuck sitting in the middle seat in the back. she didnt get the third row because she didnt need it. it was verry uncomfortable other than that its pretty nice i like them.

  4. the 04 highlander has pretty decent steering feel… i like it 🙂 like if u agree that Highlanders are Awsome

  5. We've owned a Highlander for 7 years… I don't know about you, but we're not constantly touching the top of the dash. It's soft where it needs to be. And, I'd prefer they cheap out on the interior, than on the engine.

  6. Its great car, few things i didnt like were very soft suspension, hard plastic interior, and door arm rest are very easy to be broken if press hard while getting in or off the car…

  7. Gotta love Highlanders.  Our family has a 2005 base model that we got a few years ago from the used car lot at our local Toyota dealer.  Now we're thinking of getting another one used, but this time one from the 2nd generation (2008-2013), so I can have a car to have with me up in college in Minnesota.
