2018 Volkswagen Tiguan Preview | Consumer Reports

The Volkswagen Tiguan on display at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show adds an all-new third row, giving the compact SUV passenger and cargo flexibility. The added space should help the Tiguan stand out in a crowded field.

  1. "Important safety features like forward collision warning and blind spot monitoring are optional. We prefer that those features come standard." Not everybody wants that distracting and annoying electronic CRAP in their cars. Kudos to VW for NOT forcing it upon us.

  2. VW America suddenly thinks large & cheap is the way Americans want their cars.
I honestly can't wait to see them fail with that kind of decision making.

  3. VW needs to think about the impact of the vehicles they sell gas, diesel or electric.
VW should have spent their money developing all electric vehicles rather than wasting money on polluting diesels.
Climate Change is real. It will impact all of us and all future generations
Cheating on emissions testing should be prosecuted and people should go to jail.

  4. Does anyone know when this car will come out? I really want one! This or the 2017 CR-V EX-L or Touring or the 2017 Mazda CX-5…

  5. They ruined this in so many ways. They're marketing towards people who want a small crossover with more room? The point of a crossover compact is just that. They ruined the tiguan when they added that ugly third row, and pushed out that back. They should've kept it the way it was when it first redesigned ( i think last year?)How sad.Because i was looking forward to purchasing one.But unfortunately vw ruined that for me. They should stop stretching compact cars like this. It looks ugly
