The Chevrolet Traverse can be a seven or eight seat, full-size crossover SUV built around the GM Lambda platform that underpins the GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave. It can be a successor to both Chevrolet Uplander and TrailBlazer. The Traverse was inbuilt Spring Hill, Tennessee from the introduction until late 2009, when production was gone after the same Delta Township Assembly plant in Lansing, Michigan that creates the other Lambda-platform crossovers instead for the Saturn Outlook on account of GM phasing out of the Saturn brand. However, Saturn Outlook production resumed to get a short time during early 2010 at a similar plant. The 2009 Chevrolet Traverse debuted in the 2008 Chicago Auto Show and reached every dealer in October 2008.
