  1. I think I'll be reading The Sleeper and the Spindle this week. Definitely need to try out the Goth Girl series and Witchworld as well. 🙂

  2. i loved the sleeper and the spindle! it's so beautiful and i loved Neils take on the story!

  3. The Sleeper and the Spindle looks stunning. I'm sure I gonna get it someday.

I've also read Odd and the Frost Giants by Neal Gaiman and can recommend it if you want a quick and quite fun read. Gaiman can do no wrong, I think.:)

Also (but aside from children's books), I think you should try Resurrectionist by E.B. Hudspeth. You may like it. It has illustrations of different mythical creatures in it and a little darker story of a scientist.

  4. The Sleeper and the Spindle is on my Christmas list, I love Neil Gaiman's adult and children's books, even his books for much younger children like The Blueberry Girl are beautiful to own. I've just brought a kids book called The Apothecary by Maile Meloy which has a beautiful cover and I can't wait to read it, it sounds like something you may enjoy too.

  5. I love Chris Riddell's Illustrations too, will definitely have a look at The Sleeper And The Spindle for sure.
