Classic Game Room – HALO 3 for Xbox 360 review

Halo 3 review. http://www.ClassicGameRoom.com
Classic Game Room reviews HALO 3 for Xbox 360 from Bungie and Microsoft released in 2007.

Is Halo 3 the next Pac Man franchise? This is probably one of the most famous, most popular games of all time. Classic Game Room HD looks at the game compared to other first person shooters and the classic titles like Pac Man and Space Invaders.

You are Master Chief and fighting aliens, mutants, bad guys, tax adjusters…. pretty much everything. If it has a gun and shoots at you blow it up. Halo 3 is on the Xbox 360 console and can be played multiplayer & co-op on Xbox Live.

Be sure to watch the original Classic Game Room episodes. Classic Game Room was the original classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999-2000, now on DVD.

  1. THIS GAME IS TOTTALY FREE FOR ANYBODY WITH AN X.B.L.A GOLD MEMBERSHIP JUST NOW!!I just downloaded it because I sold my release copy.

  2. It will indeed be a classic 20 years from now, along with the marketing for this. Finish the Fight at the end of the reveal trailer still gives me chills.

  3. It seems that the campaign for this game gets a lot of hate from critics but a lot of love from the fans. I'm of the opinion that the campaign was the worst of all the Halo games. Could someone who genuinely loved the story mode shed some insight into why they thought the campaign was so good? I'm legitimately curious.

  4. I don't really care if the campaign isn't as good as the other Halo games, it doesn't take that much to satisfy me.

  5. My favourite game of all time. Most fun in a multiplayer game ive ever had. You could play a few games of social slayer then trawl your recently seen list to find custom games. Many a happy game of fat kid or protect obama

  7. I miss those days on xbox when halo 3 was like the only good game, so that's what all of your friends played, and you could invite them all into custom games where you'd all have a ton of fun.
No one cared about rank either in halo 3, it was more about skill.

  8. Fun little fact: Halo 3 was so short because Halo 2 and 3 were actually once supposed to be the same game single player wise. Can't remember what happened along the way, but I do know it had something to do with Microsoft rushing Bungie for Halo 2's launch, so Bungie had to improvise.

  9. I met my wife to be on that game ??? 6 years later we're getting married, have a little boy and both collect Consoles/retro games.

  10. This game is 8 years old now and i still play the heck out of it constantly. Too bad no one else plays it though.

  11. I haven't played this game since 2009 or 2010 btw I bought it in 2008 . First game I've ever bought in my life . I was 7 years old when I bought it. I'm 15 now and this is the most memorable game ever . Brings me back to the way things used to be. The way the room used to look when I played this game. The joy of being young and playing this game to its very end. , every achievement, every reward possible was earned . I play destiny now but I look back on the Friends I used have when I played this . The YouTube videos I watched during this time. Red vs . Blue videos . Beating this game on every mode. The JOY of getting recon in return . I remember recon was the holy grail of everything in Halo 3. I have nothing bad to say about this game . Pure memorable masterpiece

  12. While multiplayer has been an essential part of Halo, I think its true core is the campaign, at least when it comes to Halo Combat Evolved, where multiplayer was sort of an add-on. I love the Halo 3 campaign especially because of the great art style by Marcus Lehto, and the ambience, soundscape and soundtrack done by Marty O'Donnell and Mike Salvatori. Listening to "Released" and "Another Walk" while plowing through dense foliage with refreshing sunlight scattering through the canopy in Sierra was truly awe-inspiring for me. The same can be said for many moments throughout the campaign, like when Master Chief and the UNSC travel to the Ark; the background music here is spectacular. Not to mention the majestic yet mysterious vocals in the background of the final warthog mission.

In 20 (make that 8.5) years, not only will both the campaign and multiplayer be considered classics, but O'Donnell's truly awesome soundtrack will be as well.

  13. this game was ground breaking coming to this after having a ps2 i was absolutely blown away gob smacked of how amazing it was that i could play people online! it had such a warm fuzzy feelinh to it

  14. I love this game so much it is still my favorite to this date. The music was just simply amazing, cutscenes made the game feel like a fucking movie, kickass weapons, kickass maps, and great multiplayer make this my favorite first person shooter on the Xbox 360.

  15. halo was one of the jewels of gaming in 2007. I remember playing this with my cousin when i was 5, So memorable

  16. Last week I played this, the population was like 100. But for some reason when I got on halo 3 today, it showed the population is 50,000. And I went into social slayer and the population shows 30,000. :-O
