Your video really helped me out. I tried plugging in the 2nd controller in and that's when everything went to crap. Anyways, thanks again for the video. With oout the obviousness I would have been lost.
yeah, that worked. it was the upper USB on mine. I get paid every two weeks…..and this is my non paid Friday lol. VERY happy to see the power led spark back up. was having Netflix/Rock band withdrawals lol

I checked my USB ports and they are all fine. I haven't use that xbox in about a year but it was working last time I used it. The block light is orange. what else could it be?
LOL.. My xbox has been broken for a few months. I I wanted to play gta and thought I'd learn how to fix it. It took 2 minutes and now it works… Haha thanks man just saved me from breaking down and actually buying a ps4

I don't understand. My controller ports are not damaged, yet it doesn't come on. One day I was just playing my game then it stopped. My xbox wont come on at all and I tried this. My wires and my adapter light still works it's yellow. Sadly, neither my turn on button (controller and xbox).
Thank you it turned on, i thought it was headed for the trash can.
