The Liquid Jade Primo comes kitted out with a 1,920×1,080-pixel full-HD AMOLED display and a promising a 21-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash. However, it’s one of the more exciting Windows 10 features, Continuum, that will make the Jade Primo a beneficial tool. Continuum allows you to connect a keyboard, mouse and monitor to the smartphone, which will then behave like an actual PC, with familiar-looking start menu, screen and apps that scale up to fit the monitor.
This feature is exclusive to Windows 10 handsets, with Microsoft adding the minimum hardware requirement of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor — a benchmark that this phone easily hits.
Not much else is known about the Liquid Jade Primo, with Acer yet to reveal information about the smartphone’s RAM , storage space, pricing or availability. It was shown off at IFA alongside the 6-inch Predator, a robust Android smartphone built for gamers.
The Liquid Jade Primo isn’t the hardware company’s only Windows 10 device. On Monday the Taiwanese company announced the Aspire R 14 convertible notebook and Aspire Z3-700, a 17.3-inch all-in-one PC.
