  1. Thanks for all the comments about the format of this video. To be honest, I do a lot of "jump cuts" because I will sometimes flub and have to start over, ha ha! But a lot of you have been telling me lately that you like the less edited videos just to see my train of thought. So thanks for the feedback. Definitely a different era from the "super jump cut less than 5 minutes" YouTube videos we had to make back in the day ha ha!

  2. I wish I hadn't seen this movie…

so I could see it again for the first time! lol it's true. Loved it but you can't see it the same after you know.

  3. Now just because, a Brutha runs at you. Doesn't mean that he's there to attack you. He just might think, that he is Jesse Owens. You movie goers will probably know exactly where I'm going. It might be a before integration foe, so check his hairline. Because every Brotha ain't a Brutha with a Brutha State of mind. Fuqk The Armitage Family.

  4. Hi Andre, you did a great job of "no spoilers" while giving the "Get Out" movie a great review. I saw the movie and I was very impressed with the story line, the acting, some of the elements and the suspense. I will go to see it again because there are just so many layers. I never heard of the film "Ten Cloverfield Lane" … I'll have to check that one out too.

  5. You are young but would you say the suspense is similar to The Stepford Wives or Rosemary's Baby (original version)?

  6. Is Andres daughter in Kids React? 😮 there is a girl that is his mini-me 😂
Personality, qwirks, movement and look is all the same 😂

  7. Someone tell me what is so eye opening, so deep about this movie? A brotha goes home with the white girl. The parents and their "friends" are putting white men into young black mens bodies lol. I think most folks are getting toooooo into this movie. There is no deep meaning to this movie, just stop lol

  8. I've seen a few of this guy's reviews and this is the first time I noticed he does it all with virtually no edits. That's fucking commendable. Andre, you're amazing.

  9. There was definitely an air of Hitchcock to this thing when it came to the truth slowly unraveling. Definitely the right well of inspiration to draw from when it comes to writing suspense.

I'll say the score had a lot to do with that. I could hear a lot of Bernard Herrmann in those strings.

  10. I've got to question, would this movie be the same if it were different races. For example I'm white and lived in China for 2 years. If it were a situation like mine would it still have been well-recieved?

  11. People in Germany call that movie "wack" and "senseless" . They don't know what they are talking about

  12. It's weird how you're like hedging your bets around having experienced micro-aggressions. Like I maybe might have sort have experienced something like that maybe a little

  13. I watched this movie today and KNEW I had to find a review by you. Granted, no spoilers has to be a challenge 😅

  14. Lemme get this straight… in this movie, all white people are evil bastards, all black people are victims of white people. AND white people "secretly" wants to be black, because apparently Black is better! This is the social message this movie convey to the audience. If this movie is not racist, I don't know what is.

Think about it. IF the role were to switch around. IF all white actors in this movie were played by Black people, and all black actors in this movie were played by White people. I betcha everybody and their dogs will go up and arms about it, calling this movie racist for portraying "black people wanting to be white". But when it's the other way around, not a whisper from the crowd. What a disgusting double standard! Why Americans think it's ok to be racist toward Whites but not ok to be racist toward Blacks??? Black people can be racist as they want and not get scrutinized while white people have to watch every words and actions they do, otherwise "Racist" label will come down on them, like the Sword of Damocles.

Jordan Peele must got a massive chip on his shoulder being a HALF black man. That's right, he is HALF White! Which makes him even more racist, apparently according to our today's social justice standard, IF you are Half black and Half white, the White half doesn't count!

  15. I saw it, I'm white, I'm straight, and I liked it. Not everyone in a particular race is racist. With that said, there's a lot of cringe within this movie, because not only are there white people like that, but people in general that are like that in the movie.

  16. I really loved how the movie turned out. I was already hyped to see it because of the casting (Not very common to find a good horror with a black protagonist). I do actually relate to the social situations. I used to work at an art gallery/get my art into art shows where the majority of people were white and after talking about art, that's where the conversation ends.. after that it's just weird silence and them giving me the weirdest over-sized grins. It just turns into 20 questions after that until they get to something like my other hobbies/interests. Then I slowly walk away to re-watch all the art as If I hadn't seen them a billion times already.

  17. i kinnda feel like watching Resident Evil VII (game), I mean there is a family of 4, the father look like Jake Baker, all the psyko, it's give me the same chill on that game, just like u said bro, i can't be relax for even a sec

  18. 6:05 Racist camera.
    "We don't all look alike!"
That one time that shithead interviewer confused Sam Jackson for Denzel Washington.

I related to this movie very much as well, on several different levels. It's not just about being the black person in an all black party or something, but being different overall, and getting the looks for whatever reason.

I remember being kinda poor, and attending to a private school for several years. My clothes and shoes were obviously super cheap, and I was kind of super awere of it. Maybe too damn much for my own good. I just remember feeling a wave of relief when I started a new year on a public school for the first time in a long time. Then, we were all sorta poor and had same level shoes. But we were also older, so nobody gave a shit anymore.

  19. That moment right before the end where your the bottom of your stomach drops to the floor and whispering "don't you fucking dare"
    at the movie

  20. I really like Peele. But I can never make it through any horror movie. I did see 10 Cloverfield Lane. I wanted to leave 3 times. I was SO glad when it was over. It was WAY too intense for me.
I'm not sure i can handle it.
    I like your reviews.
