  1. "Gods of Egypt" with not a single egyptian lead actor and characters with English Accents. Great!

  2. in this movie, the scene where the girl is at the gate of heaven, they ask if she has anything to offer and the kid says she's poor so she doesn't have anything and won't get in… that's not how it works.. I really hope people don't think that acquiring wealth is the way to get into heaven. your heart is weighed against a feather of maat and only if it is lighter will you get in.. what kind of devil's tricked you into thinking it was about wealth aquisition? maat is the way of the good soul. the order and law of the universe and truth. maat is the wife of thoth who is the god of writing and knowledge. I believe it means knowledge and writing loves truth and order. so all you liars and deceivers are in for a rude awakening. repent now. go forth and sin no more..

  3. The whites at that time were uncivilized cavemen running around with sticks. How are they in Ancient Egypt

  4. "All the egyptian characters are white washed. Egyptian actors could have been in this film!"
    after watching the film
"Uh… on second thought, I think they may have dodged a bullet." ._.

  5. Another white washed movie with one black person in Egypt…. sigh
look at the damn hieroglyphics man??? Egyptians were black and brown skinned.
next thing you know they'll do the biography of Nelson Mandela, but Shia Lebouf will be playing him….

  6. i don't know why everyone is saying this whole thing is racist, i know its history is very inaccurate but the only reason why most of the cast is white and european is probably because of how their acting is not the appearance their skin you assholes…

  7. This isn't Sparta. This is BULLSHIT

It's like they poured bleach down ancient Egypts throat and what we get is a whitewashed film.

All the major characters are white, at LEAST they couldve casted the rock to be a buff god

Ffs Egypt is in AFRICA NOT MOTHERFUCKING EUROPE

  8. The reason there are white actors is because this is an alternate Egypt, where gods interact with man. The God I worship was portrayed as a black man in Bruce Almighty. Technically, the actors weren't whitewashing roles because they were playing mythical people. Is it whitewashing when they play gods who are mythological? Certainly not.

  9. while i'm fascinated with ancient egypt, Anyone with half a brain knows that whites could not survive in the sun during this period of time. Without question the people of ancient Egypt were black. In a few thousand years the whites will change Martin Luther king to white as well!!!

  10. Didn't feel like ancient Egypt at all, I suggest you watch it but don't pay to watch it haha
