Hi, I’m Dr. Alan with my co-host, Dr. Randi. Today we’re going to show you once again how to do a Google Hangout, and once again how to get Google review. Today we are looking at the Google search results page, which is where people find your business listing on Google Maps. What you need to think about while you are watching this Hangout is how many reviews do you have. No reviews, no referrals. Dr. Randi, let’s show them exactly how important it is to get as many reviews as possible.
Dr. Randi Ross: Sure, Dr. Alan. Well we talk a look at a few different industries. What you see here is we did a search for plastic surgeons. You see many of them have quite a few Google reviews, but then you see one that has no Google reviews. What we all know as consumers is the chances of someone clicking on a link with no reviews when there are all these other options that have reviews is pretty unlikely. It’s something you always need to keep in the back of your mind, again, understanding how important these Google reviews are.
Here’s another category: we did chiropractors. Again, we see that most of them on this page have quite a few Google reviews. Then you see the one at the bottom, which again, no reviews. The likelihood of someone clicking on that link is really slim. Maybe you’re a plumber. In that kind of service industry people are always looking at reviews before they’re going to even call you. Forget about hiring you. Here we see also a number of companies that have quite a few reviews, and then you have one that has no reviews. The likelihood of someone clicking on that, again, is really unlikely. We’re really trying to make this point so you understand how important this is.
Then we took a look at dentists. What you see in this one is you have a number of them that have quite a few reviews. You see them in the hundreds, 40, 50, upwards of almost 130. Then you see one that has a small amount of reviews in comparison to the rest. Again, low reviews is sometimes something that you have to think about what can I do to get more Google reviews for my business so people are going to have more likelihood of clicking on my link.
