  1. I feel like b+v was kind of possible actually I laughed when i read that and said i knew it 10 times for the fact that she was pure blood and from a very old family, that's why he trusted her not only the cup but also the sword, still I don't know how i feel about the book, I'm guess I'm going to re-read it with more calm and see then how i feel, I'm quite confuse right now

I have thoughts but I am quite tired. Harry Potter is a dick. I loved Scorpius in this. Also Draco. I hated the epilogue because it was so happily ever after and at the age I read book seven I knew that was bullshit. Life is not happily ever after at age 18/19 so the trio having fucked up shit going on made me happy. That sounds bad. I think a lot of the hollowness stems from this being a play, and seeing it would kinda fix a lot of that.

    Things I liked:
A Potter being a Slytherin. God damn it I think the whole original series would have been better if HP were a Slytherin.
Scorpius and Albus being friends. Fucking adorable. Do we hug?
Hints to every fanfic pairing ever. Brilliant. Snamione for life yo.
Draco saying he was enjoying being bossed around by Hermione. Jesus wtf did I just read?!
I liked the whole Voldy daughter thing. Dunno why, but the idea of him and Bellatrix being together is hilarious to me because I just picture her begging him. Voldy don't got time for that.
    That is all. For now.

  4. I had big issues with a lot of the characters but I think you hit the nail on the head because I realised it's because we know the gang so well that to see them different is like "That's not you Harry! What are you doing?". I did actually quite like Albus, apart from the stupid name, I sympathised a lot with him. And Scorpious was pretty funny.

  5. I have heard and read it multiple times that the books was kind of a disappointment, that makes me so sad hahah.
I haven't got the book yet but it makes me not want to spend so 'much' money on it but on the other side I nEED it bc it's Harry Potter you know :').
So I might indeed just wait for the paperback to be released..
It's still a shame though that it's not as good as anticipated!

  6. Good review! I actually loved the play. It's quite different reading a play from reading a book. If you've ever read a play first, then seen an outstanding performance of it, you get a better sense of what a great director can do with words. I do disagree with you about Bellatrix Lestrange — she was so effusive of Voldemort, that I was surprised she was married to someone else. I can totally see her wanting to have Voldemort's baby, offering herself to him, and him taking her up on it — not as a relationship, though, but more as a purely carnal experience, or one where he degrades her as enjoyment, or as a power/ego trip, or as a way to degrade her husband. Let's just say, sick.
