Ok, I’m not a friend of the author, and am not a student of his. This is a real review of the book. I bought the hard copy.
To get the most out of this book, you need to look at it from two points of view. First, the content of the book, what you learn. Keonigs essentialy tells you that “working an event” is a great way to prospect. I can promise you, this is true. Meeting people at events (on marketing, or for businesspeople) is a very select group of people that are used to spending money at events. You almost can’t get a better prospect, if you are selling to the niche that attends. The more they paid to attend the event, the better. But you can still get great results at free events.
I know three marketers that go to large marketing events about three or four times a year. And that’s the only prospecting they need to do. It’s that effective.
Then the author gives you every single template you need to meet the prospects, what to say….everything, and then use your phone to send them texts and videos, culminating in a high ends sale a few days later. I know these techniques work. I’ve used them in the past to make
sales, and they have been used to make sales to me. The methods are sound.
You also get complete examples selling several different high end services. Things you could sell to business owners, other marketers, book authors…and of course, by seeing so many examples, you can adapt easily to any kind of offer. Truly a quick great read.
