New World Carcassonne Board Game Review

A Review of the Carcassone Spin-Off Game “New World” developed by Klaus-Jürgen Wrede and published by Rio Grande

I should mention but didn’t have time in the review, is the “Trapper” stays and isn’t removed when the surveyors move on.

  1. nice review but I the trappers are not pulled off the board even when the surveyers go to west so this was slightly wrong in this example 🙂

  2. @synastikki You correct, I made a not of that when posted on BGG but never cross-posted here.

  3. I like the new start tile and the surveyors. I would buy this rather than the basic game, but it's not enough to replace it.

  4. Thank you for the review. I have a question. When the surveyors move west, I know the settlers (except the trappers) left behind are returned to their player. Can you still play in the open space to the right of the surveyors and place settlers? Thanks!
