  1. These guys are full of shit. This is not a racist film that centers in on white people. It just so happens that the main characters are white and the action centers on one family… imagine it centering in on every person slaughtered in the film…. you would not have a film at all but a mini series dragging on for weeks. The film is intensely entertaining and is better than several action films I've seen this summer. It is however also an indictment of International Banking and multinational corporations financing various projects in poor nations and then allowing them to take over those countries when they can't pay the loans back.

  2. I'm gettin' the feeling that you guys don't have children. The theme of courage and protecting your own children far outweighs the little themes that you guys were trying to cling to. You missed the BIG POINT of what was going on. It wasn't about civil war. You guys FAILED to comprehend what this movie is about, and I think it's because you don't have the moral compass yet, to absorb the theme. When you have some kids and a tight family that you love, you're going to really enjoy this film. I totally understand your criticisms, but they were just a backdrop to the point that flew right over your heads.

  3. Before the saw the review i spotted the problem. "Welcome to Asia." i mean who says that?! Just because the U.S. has plagiarized the Continent's name it doesn't mean it works with other countries….

  4. I thought it was a gripping film and really told a great story. I didnt even THINK about the "race" issue until moronic reviewers like you all brought it up. You could tell the same damn story with a black family or an asian family in a South American country. The point was not that they were white. It was that they were foreigners in a strange country with no real knowledge of what was happening. You dont need to be a pompous jerkwad to see that.

Moreover, there were moments in this film that were literally heart stopping and heartbreaking. The moment where he throws his own children to possible death is probably one of the most tension-packed scenes in the whole film. If that didnt impact you, you have no soul or right to be reviewing film.

From a cinematography point of view, it was beautifully shot. The shakiness and quick edits and cuts really added to the immediacy and shock of the whole situation. Film is supposed to make you feel something. I was on the edge of my seat.

  5. Well I just watched the movie and I must say I loved it only wanted to turn it off cause of how intense it was lol. I have to say man y'all need to get out of yalls own head when y'all do theses reviews sometimes. The movies wasn't trying to be anything other than a intense fast paste movie. How can you set there and say man it was good but then cause of the story it was just horrible you don't need a dame story for a movie like this just enjoy the ride and be glad we don't have to deal with stuff like that cause people really go threw that kind of stuff.

  6. omg guys, so hows ur movie carrer going? cause u r old and doing youtube videos…the blonde bitch is pathetic

  7. Are you guys fucking serious? You're really going full liberal retard on this movie? THE MOVIE ACTUALLY ENDS UP MAKING THE AMERICANS LOOK BACK FOR FORCING THE ASIAN PEOPLE INTO THOSE CIRCUMSTANCES. NOT EVERYTHING HAS TO BE POLITICAL YOU FUCKING MOOKS.

  8. And you're bitching about those kids being in danger???? IT'S FAKE YOU MORONS. NEWS FLASH: IT ISN'T REAL. And people aren't actually going to think that Asians are terrible just because of a movie. This is getting ridiculous. Does the left not want to have any fun? I can't wait until they completely eat themselves. Right now they're about halfway done

  9. this is seriously one of the worst and dumbest reviews i have ever seen.. who are these people some jokers from fox news ?! what a disgusting bunch of morons .. no wonder people generalize when they think of Americans, these 4 morons are just disgusting individuals

  10. so what is that this lady is talking about that she is not willing to mention. What was so dangerous that the kids life appears to have been in danger or something at the end.

  11. 6:40 "there's also a lot of laughter in that scene" NOTHING about that scene was funny! How could you say that? Did you even watch the movie?

  12. Ron Cortez wrote the best reply to you earlier on this thread. This is a terrible "review" that imagines flaws that just aren't there.

  13. I love all the privileged white people bitching about "politicizing" movies as if movies are somehow immune to being politicized, or that blatant zenophobia should just be brushed under the rug.

People who complain about political correctness are almost without fail people who think it's their right to insult as many people as possible without people calling them out on their privileged bullshit or without suffering any consequences.

  14. DERANGED POLITICAL BIAS AND WHITE-GUILT-APOLOGETICS ON DISPLAY HERE. GROW SOME BALLS AND STOP BEING CUCKS. THANKS. BYE.

  15. "He doesn't know because he's dumb" lmao! This was a bad movie all around. The throwing the children was the best part for me. Well the most entertaining. And Pierce Brosnan my God.
