The Lumia 2520 is Nokia’s first Windows tablet — and it may well be its last. By the time Nokia is ready to design a follow-up product, the Finnish firm might officially be a part of Microsoft. For now, though, the Lumia 2520 is about to go on sale worldwide under the Nokia brand, and will compete directly with Microsoft’s Surface 2, the only other Windows RT tablet available right now.

  1. My question is who the hell would subsidize this for $400 bucks when another $100 bucks and you get it unlocked!? I mean come on, if you have 400 to spend on a tablet, chances are you have 500 to spend. Just shocked at that subsidized price! Wow.

  2. Nokia always make some different things this tablet is particularly looking like lumina series of phones I think it's the thinnest of all tablets, by the way I am a big fan of Nokia because of their designs and simplicity I don't like its acquisition from Microsoft.

  3. I hope that Microsoft could import all the Nokia's hardware crew.

I like the design of Microsoft' products (Surface is a magnificent piece of hardware), but the contribute that Nokia gave to the technology in this department is so great that we should be able to admire more products with this design language!

  4. Are you guys dumb? Microsoft won't mind if nokia lumia succeeds. The secret hardware team of microsoft only made it for pushing apple back so it won't mow them over with their ipads and i this ithat

  5. why buy this when you are not sure where is nokia going, the maintenance service is not guaranteed, just buy another product or wait till things are settled.

  6. FYI for anyone who si getting is Confused, Microsoft is only purchasing the Phone Portion, or Nokia. While most find it hard to believe Nokia is a Huge company and does not just deal with phones. I Will miss having family members working for them, it was always fun going with them to Helsinki for Trips. Beautiful City, I highly recommend it to anyone.

  7. Being that you are apart of engaget I would think you would have your facts correct. The white version is a matte texture not gloss and the desktop tile can be pinned to the start screen from the all apps option. Just thought I would point this out for potential buyers. Besides that great review and thank you for taking the time to make this video.

  9. I liked your review – the thing I really like is that the Nokia Lumia 2520 has the full Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Just use it like a laptop !
