Rambo: The Video Game is a first person rail shooter video game developed by Teyon and published by Reef Entertainment. The game is based on the Rambo film series and puts the player in the role of John Rambo. First Blood, First Blood Part II and Rambo III will form the basis for the gameplay as Rambo journeys through scenes from each of the three films. A teaser trailer was released by Machinima, containing montages from previous Rambo films. The game was set to release in winter 2013, but was eventually delayed to early 2014.

In the game, players assume the role of John Rambo as he plays out scenes from the first three Rambo films: First Blood, Rambo: First Blood Part II, and Rambo III. The mechanics of the game include stealth, demolition, and fighting off enemies using knives and guns using a cover system to avoid taking fire. The game also includes destructible terrain and rag-doll physics for animating characters.

  1. Wolfenstien and metal gear games should make love and have a Rambo game. That would make the one child we're all looking for.

  2. the first movie was awesome but there other ones suck

the first movie was about a PTSD vietnam war veteran who gets abused by a bunch of cops and then he kills them

the other ones are a action hero movie shit, also rambo was Osama Bin Laden's friend and probably sucked his dick

  3. Looks like it's more suited to a mobile game tbh. Some decent visuals here and there though.

  4. I got this game for my birthday when it came out and I wanted it badly but when I played it I was disappointed. So I sold it to gamestop

  5. How to get a true Rambo experience on your console or PC:

    1) Connect said device to TV
    2) Download Amazon Instant Video app for consoles or Fire TV (website is fine for PC)
    3) Buy or rent Rambo films
    4) Suddenly die because the entire Rambo series in one night is too much for any mortal to handle

  6. I literally vomited after one and a half minutes of video footage. I'm not even joking 🙁 Lost my pizza.

  7. Am I the only one who likes this game? It's supposed to be like an arcade shooter, which I loved as a kid. Is it just me or is the world now 96.9% COD Fantards now.

  8. One thing I don't like is the price, it's overpriced for an arcade shooter. And WTF arcade rail shooters are supposed to be hard. FUCKING COD FANTARDS ARE TAKING OVER THE WORLD!! AND THE BAD THING IS I USUALLY DON'T GET THIS PISSED BUT THIS GENERATION IS FUCKED, DOES EVERY FUCKING GAME HAVE TO APPEAL TO THE COD FANTARDS NOWADAYS.

  9. rambo 2: hes a man not god edition.
pre order now and get the "hes a man not a god" emote

  10. "admitting like an arsehole"

The arsehole is the guy that knows he is wrong, but refuse to admit it.

  11. I admit, I laughed at loud at the moment when Rambo said "Murdok im coming to get you" (gets up, guy stabs rambo, dead) lol

  12. "Clicking on enemies head for that much coveted headshot before moving to the next wave of idiots".

What do you think you do in most modern first person shooters? Exactly the same thing?

  13. The only redeeming factor about this game is you can see all the ways Rambo could have been killed in the movies if his enemies could actually aim

  14. You should review Rogue Warrior (2009..I think). No Rambo, but it does have Mickey Rourke and.. well, I don't want to spoil anything.

  15. Sorry Rambo, Teyon wanted you to die in 1988… the same year as Rambo III was released, so you can't appear in anymore movies that you already appeared in… I guess Teyon wasn't fan of the last film, it's like they don't want it to exist or something.

  16. Really would have been great as a kid in the arcade in the era of Area51, but man was I let down when I loaded it up for the first time.

  17. This would be one of the favorite games ever, it's not a rail-shooter, it has freedom of movement, that you can choose when you are going to run, hide, and that you can use as aim like Fps games tipe Call of duty…

  18. The best rail shooter in my opinion is a little known game called Ed Hunter, which revolved around the band Iron Maiden and tracking down their mascot, Eddie. It had really beautifully designed levels based on the cover art of Iron Maiden albums, and of course had a kick-ass soundtrack of Maiden songs. Of course if you're unfamiliar with or not really a fan of the band you probably won't get too much out of it but the combat is enjoyable and well-handled. Any chance of a review of that game any time soon m8?

  19. I'm pretty sure I seen thing in an arcade years ago before this came out, I was only a kid but the gameplay and missions look exactly the same and yet NO one is pointing it out, the arcade had a Sega logo on it
