  1. I loved The Visit! Some people say its Shayamalans comeback, but to me, he never left! Great review mate!

  2. I guessed the twist wrong, so I think the film did a great job to distract me by having misleading stories told by some characters.

I thought I was gonna be annoyed by kids, but they both did a terrific job.

  3. One of the things I enjoyed most was the really honest and sincere moments with the brother and sister. also I like that the scary moments were really scary and funny moments were really funny

  4. I totally agree with you about this movie. We really enjoyed it too and it was really creepy. But when we figured out the twist, I was kind of let down like I usually am with his movies in general. I've watched all of his movies, and like them, but wouldn't see myself watching for a second time.

  5. I have been waiting a good while to seeing this movie. I happen to like movies with a ending twist as long as it fits the movie. Keeps you on the edge of your seat. Any set date for the release on Youtube??

  6. Finally, The Visit…To be honest, this was my favorite thriller movie of 2015…it was creepy and intense…the twist was crazy and the ending was awesome…the grandma needs to be recognized for that performance cause was amazing!

  7. I was really surprised how much I loved it, and how good the kids were. I got worried though when finding out the kids were Austrailian that their accents wouldn't be convincing, especially the boy when he freestyles

  8. You guys need to The Invitation (2015). Probably the most intense horror movie I have ever seen.

  9. i feel like ever since 6th sense m knight shayamadandingdong has been trying to recapture that HES DEAD! moment and prove every one wrong who said they saw it coming.

  10. I love this movie but I'm sick of the brother being laid back I want a smart brother and laid back sister but overall 4.5 Dead Grandparents out of 5

  11. I loved this movie. When I saw it in the theater I did not know that this was going to be a found footage film. So when it started and rolled on I was worried it was going to be all shaky cam and stuff. But it turned very well loved the acting. I know what yo are saying abut the twist but i really tried not to think about it and just let the movie play out. Very cool movie Jay .

  12. I want to go back and watch it again to see if M left any hints throughout, like he did with the color red in 6th Sense. I know a lot of people refused to see this because it's an M Knight movie but I was willing to try it and I'm glad I did.

  13. I guessed the twist pretty quickly too, and while it didn't really seem to ruin the movie for me. I really didn't care too much for the kids' violent responses at the end, it just didn't ring true to the rest of the character development to me. For me that was what made the movie more 3 out of 5 than higher.

  14. @2:00 my eyes rolled back… you know better guys that there are not only "too bad that are good for laughs" films, you have suggested many of them that I liked. This one looks awful from what you say you liked, what happened?

  15. I loved this movie Jay and I really thought the twist brought out most of the elements that we seen during the film even further to light. The kids in the movie do an excellent in portraying the grandkids and we have to give credit to Deanna Dunagan on her portrayal of the Grandmother. All I can say in that, hopefully, M. Night Shyamalan is back.

  16. just finished this movie. omg so creepy and did not see the end coming. ugh so unsettling

  17. When I first watched the trailer for this i honestly thought it was going to be goosebumps

  18. I loved this movie and was pleasantly surprised! The comedy was great, but yet it was still super creepy! Great review Jay 😘

  19. One thing I really like about you guy's reviews is the way you layout all of the pros and cons of the movie. Too often these days reviewers tend to be very cynical, stating that the movie just "sucks". I rarely every find myself completely hating a movie, I can usually pick out some positive elements similar to the way you guys do. There's tons of work that goes into these things, music, production, acting, directing to say the entire thing just is terrible is lazy.

I would love to support you guys, do you have Patron?

  20. I did this review too after seeing it in theaters… It was really good. Yahtzee! Gay…You stuck! – Family Guy. lol

  21. i loved this movie the mom just pissed me off, who sends their kids to their parents place when they haven't even spoken to them since you left at a young age. not realistic

  22. Unfortunately I guessed the twist in the first minute.
It's still enjoyable and a well made film. I just wish I didn't figure it out SO quickly.
Although, I had known about the film for quite a while before I saw it, so maybe if I saw it as soon as it came out, I might not have guessed it.
