TCL has emerged as a major player in the U.S. TV market, climbing to #3 in 2017. Now, the company has announced the forthcoming availability of its performance-oriented TCL 6-series 4K HDR Roku TVs, which replace the 2017 P6 that remains a bang-for-the-buck champion at its price point of $650. The 55″ TCL 6-series TV has an MSRP 0f $650, the same as its predecessor. Pricing has yet to be announced for the 65″ model but it’s reasonable to expect it to be disruptive for a TV with this feature set. Indeed, any improvement over the performance of the 2017 P-series would constitute a significant threat to competing brands when it comes to these bread-and-butter screen sizes.
